2- 3 M2 - Alternator setup
Selecting the alternator setup you access directly to the programmation parameters about the generator, like frequency and
voltage. All these parameters are shown in the following table:
POS.

A
GE rated V
Rated voltage of the generator.
0-600 [VAC]
400
230
B
GE high V
You can set the high threshold voltage; if the voltage
measured is higher than this value, the generator is
considered faulty and VERSO 50 shows the “high gen.
voltage” alarm.

C
GE low V
You can set the low threshold voltage; if the voltage
measured is less than this value, the generator is
considered faulty and VERSO 50 shows the “low
generator voltage” alarm.

D
GE rated F
Rated frequency of the generator.

E
GE high F
You can set the high threshold frequency; if the
frequency measured is higher than this value, the
generator is considered faulty and VERSO 50 shows
the “high generator frequency alarm”.

F
GE low F
You can set the low threshold frequency;if the frequency
measured is less than this value, the generator is
considered faulty and VERSO 50 shows the “low
generator frequency alarm”.

G
KG delay
You can set a delay time for closing the generator
contactor. This time starts from when the VERSO 50
opens the mains contactor (software interlock function).
0-100 [s]

H
GE Ok delay
It is the delay time over which if the voltage and
frequency are within limits (parameters B, C, E, F), the
generator is considered stable and its contactor is
closed.

I
KG alarm ON
If On, the alarms set as “Global KG” cause the opening
of the generator contactor. If Off, the alarms set as
“Global KG” permit the closure of the generator
contactor if voltage and frequency are within the limits.
Set this parameter to On if you want to reset the
eventual alarms before a possible closure of KG.

System type
You can set the type of system.
If you set it to Monophase, the system is considered as
single-phase.
If you set it to Threephase, the system is considered as
three-phase.

K
ON Alarms delay
Time that passes from the starting of the generator and
the evaluation of the eventual alarms.

Cooling time
You can set the time between the opening of KG and
the removing of the remote start output. It works both in
manual and automatic mode.

Neutral
If On, the generator is considered with neutral
connected. If Off, the generator is considered without
neutral.

NOTES:
To avoid any incompatibility between the timings of the VERSO 50 and the controller for engine protection, remember
that the “ON Alarms delay” must be at least 5 seconds higher than the preheat time set in the engine protection controller.
The cooling procedure is managed by the VERSO 50. If the engine protection controller allows to set a cooling procedure,
we advise to disable it and maintain active only the procedure on the VERSO 50 controller.
