5. If necessary, connect the force gauge to a power outlet by plugging the AC
adapter into the 12V socket at the bottom of the unit. Once the AC adapter is
connected to the force gauge, plug the other end into a wall socket.
6. To assure optimum precision and stability of the measurement, the force
gauge should be mounted on a test stand. To mount the force gauge, use the
four threaded holes located in the rear of the housing.
