Switching Between Straight and Contour Mode
GPSteer provides automatic steering guidance in Straight mode or
Contour mode.
Straight mode allows you to define a straight line by setting the
beginning and end points (A and B points) of the line. All swaths
are driven parallel to this line.
Contour mode allows you to define a free-form, curved line to
match the shape of the field. In Contour mode, GPSteer will provide
guidance based on any previously sprayed area. This means that
you must have your spray turned on when you drive your first and
subsequent passes in
Contour mode.
You can switch between Straight and Contour mode at any time
while in Run mode by simply pressing the .
Note : In Contour mode, make sure spray is ON (spray wires
are closed) when applying in the field. To switch from Contour
to Straight guidance, press the . at any time in Run
mode.
