Thanks to the unique principle of dynamic stimulation, the relaxation
programs create, via the wave-like massaging effect, a pronounced
feeling of well-being. This technology provides the user with optional
levels of massage intensity and depth. It enables optimal massaging
on the various parts of the body depending on one’s own experience.
Thanks to the option of setting one’s own parameters, the user is
able to achieve exceptional results in the matter of relaxation. This
relaxation massaging is indicated in the back area (especially the
lumbar region) and in the area of the upper leg.
We recommend the use of the relaxation programs both after active
muscle training and after an electro-stimulation session. They provide
a faster breakdown of lactic acid subsequent to training.
P10 Massage - slow dynamic stimulation
The movement of the stimulation wave is slow and rolls from above to
below or from below to above (please see the paragraph on dynamic
stimulation). Adjust the massage depth to your own requirements for
the affected area (channel for channel).

In the medical field the object of this program category is solely to
relieve pain. We are concerned here primarily with articular and
muscular pain. In many cases the Gate Control Theory applies whereby
the pain signal in the neural path is replaced by the pain killing signal.
In addition, the object of the XTR4 is to break the vicious circle of the
pain: Pain causes a muscular blockage which then leads to even more
pain. Electro-stimulation can interrupt this circle. Subsequently, the
pain can be substantially reduced thanks to the analgesic stimulation.
In the best case scenario, the pain disappears completely. The pain
relief program, which employs dynamic stimulation, is regarded by
many users as providing a more pleasurable experience than is the
case with classical pain relief treatment programs. The frequencies
utilised provide a rapid pain relieving effect. However, the relief can
be of short duration in which case we would recommend repeating
the treatment.
P11 Cervical pain
This program is recommended for use in the area of the cervical ver-
tebral column in order to alleviate stress related pain. The intensity
should be so selected that the user always experiences a gentle and
pleasurable stimulation. The stimulation frequency is low in order to
loosen the trapezius muscles which are in most cases responsible for
neck pain.
