6. Operation
6.1 Operating the EMP 4 Expert
Insert the rechargeable battery into the battery compartment be-
fore starting the device . To do this, remove the cover of the battery
compartment . Insert the rechargeable battery into the battery
compartment with the metal contacts facing the device and the
guide grooves facing upwards . To close the battery compartment,
put the cover back into place .
Caution: Rechargeable battery only pre-charged. Charge before
using for the first time.
6. Switching on the device
Switch on the device by pressing the on/off key once . The opening
screen appears on the display .
6. Selecting an operation mode (opening screen)
The opening screen appears after switching on the device .
Use the menu keys to select the desired operation mode .
Use the
key to select the operation mode PARAMETER .
Use the
key to select the operation mode BIOFEEDBACK .
Use the key to select the operation mode PROGRAMME .
The operation modes are described detailed in chapter 7 „Operation
modes“ .
Use the 4 key to display current settings and to change them if
necessary .
6.4 Starting stimulation
Start stimulation by pressing the key . Use the modifica-
tion keys to set intensity to a pleasant value .
