Heat sources (types of stove)
You can tell which types of stove your pan is suitable for by the pictograms under the
base of the pan or on the coloured cardboard packaging.
Induction:
The diameter of the base should be slightly larger or the
same as the diameter of the burner.
Due to the high conductibility of induction stoves, the pan heats up
extremely quickly. Therefore ensure that you always position the pan
correctly – to this end, please observe the operating instructions of your
stove and the following information relating to positioning on heat sour-
ces. Never heat up the pan when it is empty or at maximum power. Both
can lead to irreparable defects.
Humming noises are unavoidable physical effect and do not represent a
defect in the stove or the pan.
Do not pull or push the pan over the glass ceramic hob. Grains of salt,
dust and similar particles may scratch the glass ceramic. Always left the
pan up to move it.
Aluminium pans with an exposed base may produce abrasion on the
glass ceramic surface. Remove the abraded particles immediately with
a cleaning agent for glass ceramic. After it has been burn it repeatedly,
this can no longer be removed.
