Instruction manual
Thank you very much for buying a high quality product. Before you start using your new
cookware we would like to have your attention for some minutes and inform you about
some important facts on your new product:
Clean and dry your kitchenware thoroughly before the first use and after every use,
ideally with hot water, a commercial washing-up liquid, and a soft cloth, sponge or brush.
Do not use hard objects, steel wool or cleaning products which may scratch the surface
of your pots and pans.
Instructions for use
Boiling:
Place your pot on a ring or burner with matching diameter. Fill it with liquid,
(e. g. water or stock), but avoid filling it to the brim, about 2/3 of the stated nominal
content are recommended. Never use more than the amount of liquid actually needed.
To reach boiling point set your oven on maximum power. As soon as the liquid is boiling,
turn the heat down and keep it boiling on a lower temperature. Only add salt to boiling
water or hot foods to avoid small particles of salt sinking to the bottom and causing
damage (chloride corrosion). To avoid wasting energy, always keep the lid shut.
Frying with and without fat
: To
fry with fat
heat up the dry and empty kitchen-
ware (read warning regarding the use with induction hobs) slowly at a medium heat.
Warning:
Pre-heating of non-stick coated cookware is not recommended. To
fry
without fat
(meat, eggs, fish) rub the bottom of the pan with a couple of drops of oil
(it should be covered with thin film of fat) before heating up the pan slowly at a medium
heat (read warning regarding the use with induction hobs). Do not add fat or foods
unless the necessary cooking temperature has been reached.
