5. Installation
5.1 Preparatory work
Before starting the installation, check that all the required products are complete and functional.
Check profile cutouts/hardware drill holes/cable bushings in accordance with the relevant enclosed manual.
If the abovementioned recesses do not exist, create them carefully and deburr them.
Thoroughly remove swarf.
Retract the cable on the secured side of the door. Ensure that there is sufficient space for a cable loop.
Do not bend the cable and protect it against abrasion!
Provide a cable disconnection point in the area of the cable link to make it easier to remove the door.
Max. cable length from the lock to the control unit/junction box is 10 m (length of pre-assembled cable), in
addition, larger cable cross-sections may be required to prevent voltage drops (see fig. 6)
.
Attention electronics: make sure the lock recess is free of swarf and clean!
