10. Decommissioning and recommissioning
10.1 Decommissioning
Warning
Schüco VentoTherm must be decommissioned by person-
nel who are familar with these operating and installation
instructions.
Temporary decommissioning
If Schüco VentoTherm remains decommissioned and is left
unattended for a long time (at least 2 years), switch off all
energy sources and ensure that it cannot be switched back
on without authorisation.
Final decommissioning
If Schüco VentoTherm is to be decommissioned for good,
the device must be dismantled.
All cabling supplying power must be disconnected and
removed by an expert.
10.2 Recommissioning
Recommissioning after a short period of decom-
missioning
To recommission the device, refer to the steps described in
the „Commissioning“ section.
No additional measures are required.
Recommissioning after a longer period of de-
commissioning
To recommission after a longer period of decommissio-
ning, check the device.
Then carry out all the steps described in the „Installation“
and „Commissioning“ sections.
