Warning
The device must not be opened.
You can only remove the cover.
The following table is a troubleshooting guide.
Should any other faults arise with Schüco VentoTherm,
which are not listed here, contact the service desk.
Do not try to fix faults yourself.
If faults arise during operation, switch the device off imme-
diately. Press the push button on the operating unit until
the device switches off.
7. Troubleshooting
Detect Error What do I need to do?
Red display (5) is flashing, device is not
working
One or both fans are slower than
the speed selected, e.g. the fan has
jammed.
Voltage on the power pack is less than
10 V
1. Press the push button (1) until none of the displays are lit.
2. Press the push button (1) until the blue display lights up.
If the error continues, call the service desk number and notify them of the problem.
The warning display panel is flashing,
the green display (2) is lit and the device
is working.
There is a fault in the CO
2
or humidity
sensor.
1. Press the push button (1) until none of the displays are lit.
2. Press the push button (1) until the blue display lights up.
If the error continues, call the service desk number and notify them of the problem.
The device is not working. Cannot switch the device on. 1. Check the mains cable.
2. Check the plug connections for the power supply and operating unit.
3. Check the fuse and replace it if necessary.
If the error continues, call the service desk number and notify them of the problem.
Extremely noisy Fans are making more noise than usual. 1. Replace the filter.
If the error continues, call the service desk number and notify them of the problem.
Indicator for the set ventilation speed
is flashing
Temperature has dropped below opera-
ting temperature
The outside temperature must not drop
below -15℃.
1. Switch the device off.
