5.4 Electrical connections
5.4.1 Connection to the operating unit
Caution
Before Schüco VentoTherm is connected to the mains
supply, connect the operating unit.
The operating unit operates Schüco VentoTherm and sets
the operating modes available. (also see the „Operation“
section)
Push the D-SUB plug into the D-SUB socket.
Tighten the knurled screws of the D-SUB plug by hand.

5.4.2 Connecting Schüco VentoTherm
Warning
Electrical connection must be carried out on site by an
electrician in accordance with all the appropriate protective
measures.
All the work being done on site must be completed before
connecting Schüco VentoTherm.
Prerequisite for operating Schüco VentoTherm is that
there is a 230 V mains connection in the upper area of the
installation location.
Flexible cables with the following attributes must be used:
Length < 2 m, nominal cross section of the wires ≥ 0.5 mm²
Length > 2 m, nominal cross section of the wires ≥ 1 mm²
Depending on the manufacturer, the cable can have a
maximum outer diameter of 10 mm.
