CD mode
You can use the CD drive to play standard audio CDs and writable discs (CD-Rs,
CD-RWs) with a diameter of 12 cm. To ensure the device functions properly, you
should not burn CDs of speeds greater than 16x.
Caution!
Risk of severe damage to the CD player!
Do not use 8 mm CDs (Mini CDs) or contoured CDs (Shape CDs).
Handle the CD carefully and avoid scratching or otherwise damaging it.
Only handle CDs on the edges whenever possible. To clean dirty CDs, use a
lint-free cloth without solvent. Always wipe CDs from the centre outwards.
Keep CDs out of direct sunlight and store in a case/sleeve when not in use.
Do not affix any labels to CDs. Use a suitable felt pen to write on CDs.
Scania does not accept responsibility for damage to the CD player caused by
unsuitable or damaged CDs.
For optimal performance, only use CDs with the Compact Disc logo.
Copy-protected CDs may not play correctly. Scania cannot guarantee that the device
will function properly when playing copy-protected CDs!
Note
