Recommended operating distance

Adjust the printer position such that the infrared signal does
not have to travel for more than 20 cm and the PC or
handheld terminal is within a 30º area vertically and
horizontally (cone shape) from the center of the infrared
communication filter.
NOTE!
Infrared communication may be affected by
external influences (e.g. direct sunlight). If you
experience any problems, reduce the distance to
the infrared communication filter.
