7.8 Webcam Server
1. Q: I cannot view Webcam’s video screen from WAN.
A: Please follow the steps below.
Step1. Open Internet browser and input http:// 192.168.1.1 in the address field.
Step2. Input admin in both " User Name " and " Password " fields. Then, click on
Login button.
Step3. Click on Web Camera Server item under Server of the Main Menu.
Step4. Then, select Enable to turn on Access from WAN .
2. Q: Why is that the image from Webcam is so vague?
A: Please adjust the circular-frame around the Webcam’s Len, until the image from
Webcam showed on PC’s screen is clear.
3. Q: Can I use two Webcams at the same time?
A: No, GR-1100 supports only one Webcam to monitor.
4. Q: Can I use any digital camera which supports webcam function to connect to
GR-1100?
A: No, exactly GR-1100 doesn’t support digital camera.
5. Q: Does GR-1100 support all webcam models?
A: No, GR-1100 only supports the webcams possessing OV511, OV511+,
SAA8115HL, Sonix PcCam, Sonix PcCam+, Sonix sn9c102P Hv7131R, Sonix
sn9c120 OV7648, Generic spca536a, Z-star Vimicro 0301p, Z-star Vimicro
Zc0302, and SAA8116HL chip.
6. Q: Why couldn’t see the image of USB Webcam from WAN?
A: Besides make sure to enable the USB Webcam Access from WAN , the Remote
Management should be enabled also, and then the image of USB Webcam
could be seen from WAN.
