This instruction sheet describes how to safely install the IntelliCom WAN Mesh Radio.
It is intended to be installed by trained professionals. Be sure to read and understand all
installation and safety instructions before proceeding with the installation.
You should set up and test your radios indoors, on a bench or table, before installing
them. This will allow you to pre-configure the radios so that they are all on the same
radio frequency (RF) channel. You will use IntelliCom
®
View Pro Network Management
Software to configure the radios and create a small mesh network. Test the network
settings you plan to use.
IntelliCom DA Mesh and WAN Mesh Radios can be configured to support one- or two-radio
operation, and the WAN Mesh Radio can optionally support 802.11n (MIMO) operation.
The IntelliCom DAM Mesh Radio does not support 802.11n (MIMO) operation.
For IntelliCom DA Mesh and WAN Mesh Radios, the second radio, if needed, must be
enabled via a license and IntelliCom View Pro software. Likewise, the MIMO capability
must be enabled for those radios which require it.
