68 Making and Answering Calls
Speed Dialing
You can designate up to 98 numbers in your address book for
speed dialing. The speed dial numbers are associated with the
numbers 02-99. Since the numbers are associated with an
Address Book entry, any updates made are automatically saved
in the speed dial list.
Adding Phone Numbers to the Speed Dial List
To avoid entering phone numbers in multiple places, the
numbers in the Speed Dial list are taken from your Address
Book. If you think of a number you want to add while you are
using the Speed Dial list, there is a quick way to jump from the
Speed Dial list to the Address Book.
1.
Tap to open the Application launcher, then tap to
open the Speed Dial application. The Speed Dial List
screen shows the currently registered speed dial entries.
You can also access the Speed Dial List from the phone menu.
In the Phone screen, tap
, then tap Speed Dial List from
the Calls menu.

Tap the “Add” button in the Speed Dial List screen. A list of
all the entries in your Address book is displayed.

Select the desired entry by tapping on the phone number.

The Set Speed Dial screen is displayed. Tap the drop down
arrow.
5.
Select the desired Speed Dial number from 02 - 98.
6.
Tap “Done”.
Making a Speed Dial Call

In the Phone main screen, tap and hold the speed dial
number associated with the desired entry.
