Menu functions

Voice memo

(Menu 8.6.2)

You can record and review voice memos.

Recording a voice memo

1. From the Voice memo screen, select

Record

2. Record a memo by speaking into the microphone.

While you are recording, a timer displays to show

you the elapsed time.
Tap or press <

Pause

> to pause recording, or

Continue

> to resume.

3. Tap or press <

Stop

> to end recording. The screen

provides you with the following choices:
•

Save

: save the voice memo.

•

Re-record

: discard the current memo and

record another one.

•

Review

: play the voice memo. The screen

displays the length of the memo.

4. When you are satisfied, select

Save

5. Enter a title for the memo and tap or press

Save

Playing a voice memo

1. From the Voice memo screen, select

Memo List

2. Scroll to a memo and tap or press <

Play

From the memo list, tap or press <

Options

> to

access the following options:
•

Send

: send the voice memo as part of an e-mail.

•

File info

: access the file properties.

•

Rename

: change the name of the voice memo.

•

Erase

: erase the selected memos.

Voice answer

(Menu 8.6.3)

Use this menu to enable your phone to server as an

answering machine. When you are unable to answer

incoming calls, your phone will answer for you and

record the caller’s message.

Activating the answering machine feature

From the Voice answer screen, select
