PRIME REGISTER SPACE
The lower 192 bytes of the 256-byte physical internal register file (00H–BFH) is called the
prime register space
or,
more simply, the
prime area
. You can access registers in this address using any addressing mode. (In other words,
there is no addressing mode restriction for these registers, as is the case for set 1 and set 2 registers.) All registers
in prime area locations are addressable immediately following a reset.
