TROUBLESHOOTING

4-2-14. When the MAIN Panel PBA does not work properly

When the Panel PBA is not turned on or only some of the lamps are turned on

② When the Panel PBA key cannot be selected
※ The basic troubleshooting follows the descriptions above. If the problem continues even after completing the 
steps above, complete the following procedures.

Is the connector of the 

lower hinge cover of the CV-Door 

compartment insert properly?

Start

Reconnect the connector. 

Repair it if there is a contact 

problem.

It the MAIN PCB connector 

CN50 #1~5 inserted properly?

Reconnect the connector to 

the Main PBA.

Is the connector properly 

inserted into the Door Panel PBA? 

Reconnect the connector. 

Repair it if there is a contact 

problem.

Is the Panel PBA turned 

on properly when the PBA has been 

replaced?

The Panel PBA is defective.

① Check the fridge compartment door wire - Check if the wire is open-circuited or short-circuited.
① Check the fridge compartment CABI wire - Check if the wire is open-circuited or short-circuited.
③ Check if there are open or short circuits in the Main or Panel PBA.

※  If no key is pressed for 10 seconds, the LEDs 

of the display are turned off. When the display is 
turned off, you can use the keys after turning 
the display on by pressing test key first.  
However, if the door or the home bar door is 
opened, the Display LEDs remains on.

① Check the fridge compartment door wire - Check if the wire is open-circuited or short-circuited.
① Check the fridge compartment CABI wire - Check if the wire is open-circuited or short-circuited.
③ Check if there are any open or short-circuits in the communication and power supply block on the Main and Panel PBAs.

Is the Lock lamp turned on?

Check again after releasing the 

lock function.

Has test key been pressed

Reassemble the PBA ASS'Y so 

that no key is pressed.
