Get Started

Parts and Functions

The following illustration and table outline your tablet’s primary parts and key functions.

Part

Description

Touchscreen

Display information needed to operate your tablet, such as the call
status, the Contacts list, and the date and time. Also provides one-
tap access to all of your features and applications.

Recent Apps key

Access recently used apps.

Home key

Return to the home screen. Press and hold to open Google
Search/Google Now.

Microphone

Record your voice or ambient sounds for voice recordings and
videos.

Back key

Return to the previous screen, or close a dialog box, options
menu, the notification panel, or keyboard.

Front camera

Take pictures and record videos while facing the screen. May also
