SD Card & Phone Storage
From this menu you can view the memory allocation for the
memory card as well as mount or unmount the SD card.
For more information about mounting or unmounting the SD card,
see
“Using the SD Card”
on page 39.
To view the memory allocation for your external SD card:

From the Home screen, touch

.The available memory displays
under the Total space and Available space headings.
Search Settings
Use the search settings to configure parts of Google Web search
(for example, whether Google makes suggestions below the
Quick Search Box as you type), and what phone features you
want to include in the searches.

Set up a Google account for this device (if you have not
already set one up).

Touch one of the following search settings:
• Google search settings
: displays the Google search preferences
settings.

Show web suggestions
: includes search matches from Google’s
online search engine.

Search history
: determines whether to include perosnalize search
history results in the list.

Manage search history
: manages the personalized search history
associated iwth your Google account.
• Searchable items
: displays a screen to select search categories
included in the device searches such as:
Apps
,
Contacts
,
Browser
,
Slacker
,
YouTube
,
Music Player
,
or Dialer
.
• Clear search shortcuts
: erases the history for recently selected
search results.
Language & Keyboard Settings
This setting allows you to configure the language in which to
display the menus. You can also set on-screen keyboard options.
