Software upgrades using the USB
■
Host jack must be performed with a
USB flash memory stick only.
Auto Upgrade Notification
If you have connected the player to
your network, and then set Auto
Upgrade Notification on, the player
automatically notifies you when a
new software version is available for
the player.
To set Auto Upgrade Notification on,
follow these steps:

To upgrade the firmware, remove

Playing Files on a USB Device
There are two methods you can
use to play or view multimedia files
located on a USB device.

Even though the player will display

example, if you selected music, you
will only be able to see music files.
You can change this selection by
returning to the Photos, Videos &
Music screen and going to Step 3 in
Method 2 below.
