After finishing work:
carefully clean and wash the plow.
7.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
In the event when the plow will be parked for a period longer than two weeks, always
perform the following maintenance:
carefully clean and wash the plow,
if the plow requires repairs, adjustments, gasket replacement, or hose replacement this should
be completed,
remove any rust spots and touch up any damaged paint.
protect metal surfaces with a light coating of a thick lubricant such as ŁT – 43, mineral oil or
gear oil like 15W40.
replace any illegible warning or informational signs.
protect the connecting fittings of the hydraulic hoses.
WARNING!
The snow plow should be stored in the retracted position - with
the actuators retracted, in a dry and clean place, not accessible to
unauthorized personnel or animals, on flat level and hard surface
under a roof or other covering which will protect it from atmospheric
weather conditions.
8.
TRANSPORT
During transport the snow plow should be on secured in a way which will prevent it from
shifting. When loading the plow on a transport vehicle it should be lifted using transport
hooks/openings shown on
Fig. 2
and marked with special labels (
Tab. 1
). Use only a lift/hoist
with the lifting capacity no smaller than the weight of the snow plow.
