Adjusting space between tine conditioner’s mask and its shaft
(Models: KDD 860 S, KDD 940 S, KDD 860 S T i KDD 940 S T)
Depending on size and thickness of the mowing grass, there may be a necessity to adjust
the mask of conditioner. The higher and thicker grass, the bigger the space between conditioner’s
mask and its shaft should be. Proper adjustment should be based on experience, in order not to
block the conditioner and not to activate friction clutch of PTO shaft. The way how the mask is
regulated is shown in Fig. 24.

6.5.
Replacing conditioner’s tines
(Models: KDD 860 S, KDD 940 S, KDD 860 S-T, KDD 940 S-T)
Worn tines must be immediately replaced with new ones. Each time, before the work begins,
check the conditioner’s tines along with the bolts on which the tines are mounted and tines’ holders.
CAUTION:
A new bolt M16
×70
oc. cl. 8.8 and nut M16 oc. cl. 8.8 should be used
to make the connection; torque down until tight.

Removal of the flail consists of unscrewing the nut using a flat wrench (M16 oc. self locking
cl. 8.8) using a flat wrench, removing the bolt M16x70 cl. 10.9. and removing the flail. Installation
of the flail is accomplished by reversing these steps (Fig. 25).
