PROBLEM SOLVING

Kettle switches off before it has boiled
- Kettle needs to be de-scaled
- The kettle may have accidentally been used without water, causing
the safety cutout device to operate.

Kettle does not work

Check that the power supply is switched on at the wall socket

Hints before returning for service:
1.
Has the plug been wired correctly and are the wires tight under their screws?
2.
Is your household socket working properly?
If service becomes necessary within the warranty period the appliance should be returned to an
approved Amalgamated Appliance (Pty) Ltd. Service Centre. Servicing outside the warranty
period is still available but this will be chargeable.
