MAINTENANCE
PRIMARY OPERATING PROBLEMS AND POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
• Unplug the unit from compressed air system before revision/adjustment.
• Clean and inspect the unit before each use.
• Inspect the trigger and the safety system regularly. If either of these mechanisms is not functioning correctly, or if the unit has an air leak or requires repair, stop using the tool.
• HOW TO REPLACE THE TRIGGER:
Remove the trigger pin and then the trigger. Replace the trigger and put the pin back in place.
• The employer and user are responsible for keeping the device in optimal condition to ensure safe operation.
• Keep the tool clean and inspect it for any type of damage. Use non-flammable products for cleaning. Never immerse the unit in a liquid.
• Make sure screws and covers are properly secured.
• If the unit is used without a lubricant feeder, place 2-6 drops of pneumatic oil in the air intake before beginning operation and after every two hours of continuous work.
• Keep the unit’s loader and muzzle clean and free of dirt and abrasive particles.
• The table below shows the most common problems which may arise when working with the units and their solutions. If any of the following occurs when using the device, immediately
stop working to avoid personal injury. Disconnect the unit from the air supply before attempting repair or adjustment. When replacing seals or cylinders, use lubricant before installing
the replacements.

correctly (the head sticks out)
• Wood too hard
• Do not use the device
• Low air pressure
• Adjust the air pressure
• Worn or broken tab
• Remove piston/tab unit and check that the tab
moves back into position correctly
• Check if the tab is excessively worn or not
• If the tab does not stick out past the guide, replace
the tab

ATTENTION! Never use the tool unless it is in contact with the piece of wood. To avoid injury and to prevent damage to the tool, do not use with damaged
nails or staples or fire into the air.
• Use recommended protective equipment at all times when operating the the tool.
• Each time the tool is fired, a small burst of air is released from the front of the tool. Keep your face away from this area. The direction of the air released can be controlled with units with a built
in air regulator.
• Make sure the staple/nail has been fired into the piece you are working on in accordance with your requirements. Driving depth can be adjusted by regulating the air pressure using the tool’s
regulator.
• At lower pressures the tool uses less energy, makes less noise, and there is less wear and tear on the unit.
• If any any defect or malfunction is discovered, disconnect the unit from the compressed air and send it to a specialist for revision.
