Please follow these installation instructions carefully. Failure to install
TapBoost in accordance with these instructions will invalidate your warranty.
General Considerations:
• The best possible location for TapBoost is directly before the outlet
to be boosted.
• TapBoost should be positioned to allow adequate ventilation of the
pump (100mm recommended). The pump should never be covered so
as to stop airflow for ventilation.
• The installation must comply with any local byelaws, the Water
Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, BS EN 806 and in
accordance with IET Electrical Regulations.
• Good practice is to fit a full bore isolating valve to the inlet pipework
of the pump to facilitate any future maintenance.
• All pipework must be securely fixed.
