Examine the pacifier bulb before each use for cracks, tears, tackiness or other signs
of wear. Discard the worn unit immediately.

Do not attempt to pull or twist the nipple apart from the body or detach button
head as this will damage the Thermometer’s sensitive temperature probe and
electronics.
•
The thermometer may be sterilized by immersing the silicone rubber nipple
ONLY
in sterilizing solution such as alcohol. Immerse the nipple approximately 1”
ONLY
in the solution. The protective clip-on plastic shield supplied may be used as a
container for this purpose.
NOTE: The pacifier thermometer should never be
completely immersed in sterilizing solution, or sterilized in boiling water, as
damage will occur to the electronic components.

The plastic parts of the thermometer may be wiped clean with a soft cloth.
•
Use this thermometer for oral temperature measurements only.
Care And Cleaning
Measurement Range:
90.0ºF to 109.9ºF (32.2ºC to 43.2ºC).
Measurement Accuracy:
+0.2ºF, from 98.0ºF to 102.0ºF (+0.1ºC, from 36.6ºC to
38.8ºC).
The life of the 1.5V Drycell battery sealed in the Thermometer is approximately 18
months under normal use conditions. When the display shows “
▼
”, unit should be
discarded.
NOTE: The battery is not replaceable. Do not attempt to remove the battery.

If the measurement is interrupted for any reason, repeat the above procedure.
NOTE:
“HºF” (“HºC”) will be displayed when the temperature exceeds 109.9ºF
(43.3ºC).
IMPORTANT:
Should the Pacifier Thermometer display HºF (HºC),
proper medical attention should be sought immediately.

To recall the last temperature, press and hold the power button for at least 3
seconds. The last temperature will be displayed with the letter “M” under the
degree sign. Release the power button and the thermometer will return to the
ready-to-measure mode.
