Problem
Possible Causes
Remedy
Lift Table will
not raise
–
Motor cannot
be heard
running.
1) Power not supplied to
lift table
Check supply, fuses, earth leakage and whether the lift table
is plugged in.
SmartLift diagnosis:
The orange "Power On" LED indicates that power is supplied
to the lift table.
2) Up limit may be
tripped, due either to:
a) Incorrect adjustment
b) Lift table at top (or near
top of travel)
Re-adjust the limit switch if necessary.
SmartLift diagnosis:
The red "Up limit tripped" LED illuminates when the up limit is
tripped, whether or not an attempt is made to operate the lift
table.
3) Thermal overload on
motor contactor may
have tripped. (Three
phase lift tables only)
Reset the overload by opening the contactor box and
pressing the red reset button on the overload. If the overload
trips immediately or on the next attempt to operate, an
electrical fault exists. Contact your Safetech agent.
4) Motor fuse on control
board may have blown
(single phase lift tables
only)
Check the motor fuse mounted on the control board. Open
the enclosure housing the control board and check the fuse
with a multi-meter. The fuse is 13 amp 1" long x 1/4" diam
ceramic type. When replacing the board, carefully bunch
cores beneath the board. Ensure that board stand-offs sit in
the bottom of the box without fouling cables.
SmartLift diagnosis as follows:
(1) Check that the orange "Power on" LED is on and that the
red "Up limit tripped" is off.
(2) Press the up control. If the green "Up control made" is on
and the orange "Power to motor" is not, the motor fuse on
the board is blown.
