10 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
All the operations described in chapter 10 must
be performed exclusively by the service provider
or a specialised technician, who shall organise
all operating sequences and employ suitable means to en-
sure strict compliance with the safety regulations in force.
10.1 Cleaning
Intervals
For improved effi ciency, it is advisable to carry out the cleaning
and maintenance operations indicated in the following table.

10.2 Cleaning the Water Tank
The water tank should be cleaned every time it is fi lled.
10.3 Thorough Cleaning of the Cappuccinatore
Clean all the Cappuccinatore parts thoroughly every month by us-
ing the Saeco detergent.
The Saeco detergent may be purchased at your local dealer or at
authorised service centres.
The lack of cleaning before and after each use can aff ect the cor-
rect operation of the machine.
Danger of burns! Dispensing may be preceded by
small jets of hot water.
