8.11 Measuring and Adjusting Water Hardness
Measuring water hardness is very important in order to correctly
manage the "" fi lter and the frequency with which the
machine must be descaled.

Immerse the water hardness test strip in water for 1 second.
Note: The test strip is only valid for one measure-
ment.

Check how many squares change colour and refer to the ta-
ble.

The numbers correspond to the settings indicated in the fol-
lowing machine adjustments.
HARDNESS 4 (hard)
