Positioning
The bearing surface of the UTAs, positioned inside the
allowance area
described above,
must be on the flat, in order to avoid damaging stresses to panels and frame, especially
when coupling the sections.
In order to avoid the direct contact between the metal bottom support surface of the
foundation and the floor we suggest to place between then a rubber layer having
appropriate thickness.
No other shock-absorber is required, for the inner moving parts are dynamically isolated
from the structure. Anyway, should its installation be considered useful, please previously
apply to our Engineering Office.
We suggest to check the correct slope of the inner trays in order to ensure and help the
drain and their perfect emptying.
Prearrange the drain-trap wing and calculate the slope of the drain pipeline; should the UTA foundation height be not sufficient, apply a
metal or masonry counter-foundation having appropriate height.
The hanging UTAs can be suspended to the roof by means of special side members and tie-rods, as per figure.
For the UTAs positioned outdoors, a particular care is required when sealing the joints of the various sections and also when applying and
fastening the rain roof for it can be subject to violent wind strokes, as described below.
We suggest to carry out the outdoor positioning always on a special foundation having height appropriate, beside for drain-traps and drain
pipelines as described above, also for snowfalls of the place, in order to avoid even the minimum risk of water penetration.
Section junction
The UTAs can be supplies as single-block piece up to the limit dimensions for transport on normal means.
On request and always, in case of higher dimensions, they are supplied in several sections, that can be joined by the Customer when
positioning the UTA on the installation place.
The section junction can be carried out with one of the procedures indicated below:

After removing the panels, secure with bolts
- for the UTAs installed outdoors and subject to bad weather, we suggest to carry out a further silicon sealing on the vertical sides along the
two frames.
