• EXTENSION ARMS
See Figure 39.
To install the extension arms, insert the ends of the extension arms into the holes on either side of the base. Secure them
in position by placing a clamp bracket under each extension arm beneath the mitre table. Position each clamp bracket
as shown in Figure 39. Secure each clamp bracket in place with a clamp bracket screw. These screws thread through
the clamp brackets and tighten against the bottom of the mitre table, securing the clamp brackets against the extension arms.

• STOP BLOCK
See Figures 40 and 41.
The stop block is useful as a stop for cutting multiple pieces to the same length. It can be installed on either extension arm,
on either side of the saw base:
•
Slide the stop block on the back rail of either extension arms, then insert the extension arm into the saw base.
See Figure 40.
•
Use the small wing screw to secure the stop block to the extension arm. See Figure 40.
•
Loosen the small wing screw and adjust the stop block the desired distance from the blade, as required.
•
Tighten the small wing screw securely.
•
Make a test cut in scrap material and measure the length of the workpiece.
•
Make any necessary adjustments.
WARNING: When using a clamp with the stop block, fit the clamp on the stop block side of the blade.
This will eliminate the possibility of the saw catching the loose end and throwing the workpiece. Failure to heed
this warning can result in serious personal injury.
