open flame. An exploded
battery can propel

be charged in a location
where the temperature is
more than 10°C (50°F) but
less than 38°C (100°F). To

outside or in vehicles.

40 °C (104°F).

battery leakage may

them with clean water for
at least 10 minutes, then
