3. COUPLING THE DISCHARGE PIPE
NOTE : Tighten the clamp on the hose to prevent the hose from disconnecting at high
pressure.

4. ABSORPTION HOSE COUPLING
The suction hose should be of the non-expandable reinforced type. The length of the
suction hose should not be longer than necessary, as pumping performance is best when
the suction distance is shorter.
The self-priming time is proportional to the length of the suction pipe. The suction hose
supplied with the pump will be coupled to the end of the suction pipe by means of a
clamping collar.
CAUTION:
Always fit the siphon to the end of the suction pipe before starting pumping. The sorbent
will not let through, leaves, roots or other debris that may clog the pipe or damage the
impeller.
The point of support of the sorbent must be solid (not on sand, gravel, mud, etc.) or 0.5m
from the bottom.
