To ensure safe operation:
▪ Always check the engine before starting. This can prevent an accident or
damage to the equipment.
▪ As a safety precaution, never pump flammable or corrosive liquids such as
petrol or acids. Also, to avoid pump rust, never pump seawater, chemical
solutions, caustic liquids such as waste oil, wine or milk.
▪
The motor pump is designed for pumping clean water, not waste water or water
with impurities (sand, gravel, etc.) Dirty water with impurities can lead to
premature wear of the pump elements.
▪ Place the pump on a safe horizontal surface. If the pump tilts or overturns,
gasoline may spill.
▪ To prevent fire and ensure proper ventilation, keep the pump at least 1m away
from building walls or other equipment during operation. Do not place
flammable objects near the pump.
▪
Due to the possibility of burning due to hot engine parts during motor pump
operation, do not allow them near the operating site.
▪
To be able to intervene quickly to stop the engine and understand how to apply
all the controls. Do not allow anyone to use the motor pump without first
receiving the appropriate instructions.
▪ Petrol is highly flammable and can become explosive under certain conditions.
▪ Fill up with petrol in well-ventilated enclosures and with the engine switched
off. Do not smoke and do not allow flames or sparks near the fuelling or petrol
storage area.

Do not overfill the tank with petrol. After refuelling, check that you have closed
the fuel filler cap properly.
▪
Be careful not to spill fuel when refuelling. Spilled fuel or fuel vapour may ignite.
If fuel is spilt, before starting the engine make sure that the spilt petrol has been
wiped off.
▪ Never run the engine in closed rooms or unventilated enclosures.
▪ The muffler gets very hot during engine operation and remains hot for a while
after the engine is switched off.
Be careful not to touch the muffler when it is hot. To avoid the possibility of accidents by
touching hot engine parts, do not allow children or animals in the area.
