3 Product Installation

The RG-S6120 series switch must be used and fixed indoors.

Make sure you have carefully read Chapter 2, and be sure that the requirements set forth in Chapter 2 have been

met.

3.1 Installation Procedure

The RG-S6120 series switch is a complicated device. Carefully plan and arrange the installation location, networking

mode, power supply, and wiring before installation.



The installation location provides sufficient space for heat dissipation.



The installation location meets the temperature and humidity requirements of the device.

Assemble switch before installation

Install the cabinet

Mount the device into the cabinet

Ground the system

Insert various modules

Connect external port cables or fibers of various modules

Bind cables or fibers

Installation check

End

Connect the power supply
