Using the grill plates
The stainless steel or glass ceramic grill plates, which
are available as accessories, can be put on the grill at
any time. They are not firmly attached. The grill plates
are placed on the top plate of the steel body and
pushed to the edge.
The stainless steel grill plates have an edge on the
outside that can be pushed up to the main body to
ensure the best positioning.
Grill plates are hot during and after use for a long time
The grill plates require a few hours to cool down. As long as a fire is still
burning or coals are hot, the SURPRISE will not cool down. You can pull
the grill plates slightly over the edge to help them cool down faster by
reducing contact with the hot surface. Never grasp the hot plates with
your bare hands.
