Example

: For this example the other protocol in the gateway is the Allen-Bradley PLC. As you can see

from the picture below, the UsbStatus for ASCII Device 1 is mapped to a PLC tag called USB_Status. The
data type of this tag is an Int32 to match the data type of UsbStatus. The tag USB_Status will now hold
the printer status of ASCII Device 1.

Application Use:

This is particularly useful if you wish to see the printer status from the other protocol

connected to the gateway.
