MINOR MAINTENANCE TIPS
CHANGING ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT
n Loosen the rim holding screw
on top and take out the head
light reflector.
n Disconnect the wiring coupler
over the bulb.
n Remove the rubber grommet
from the bulb.
n Press the clip by thumb to
r elease the free end f ro m
bulb holder.
n Pull out the bulb.
ASSEMBLING THE HEAD LAMP BULB
1. Ref ix the new halogen
bulb into reflector unit of
the headlamp.
2. Gently press the bulb
holding clip and lock the
free end in its slot.
3. Fit the rubber grommet.
4. C onnect the electri cal
connections carefully &
assemble the headlamp
in the r ever se order of
dismantling.
C A U T I O N
Never touch the bulb with yo ur
fingers, Finger prints will etch the
glass and decr ease bulb life.
Always hold the bulb with paper
or clean dry cloth during handling.
