Roxio Easy VHS to DVD Plus
Note:
If you are using Windows 7, you can find the sound
settings for the capture device by opening the Windows
Control Panel
, opening the
Devices and Printers
page, and
right-clicking the
Roxio Video Capture USB
device icon.
Choose
Sound settings
from the context menu, and in the
Sound
window, click the
Recording
tab, and click
Line -
Roxio Video Capture USB Audio Device
(name might be
slightly different). Click the
Properties
button at the bottom
of the window and in the
Line Properties
window, click the
Levels
tab, and adjust the
Line
volume settings. Click
OK
to
apply the changes, and close the window.
Why is there a high pitched sound (squeal)
when the application is running?
This can be caused by your default recording device being set to your
microphone and not the VHS to DVD USB device.
To set the USB capture device as your default
recording device

In the Windows
Control Panel
, open the
Devices and Printers
page.

Right-click the
Roxio Video Capture USB
device icon.

Choose
Sound settings
from the context menu.

In the
Sound
window, click the
Recording
tab, and click
Line -
Roxio Video Capture USB Audio Device
(name might be slightly
different).

Click the
Set Default
button, click
OK
, and close the window.

Close Easy VHS to DVD Plus, and restart the computer.
