Adding audio clips in the Mix Editor
To add an audio clip:

Select the layer in which you want to insert the new clip.
Tip:
To add a new layer below the current layer, click
Add
layer below
.

Click the position at which you want the new clip inserted.
Note:
You must select a location that does not already contain a
clip.

Add the audio clip in one of the following ways from the
Project
View
:
To add an audio clip stored on your computer, click
Import
Audio
>
Add Audio File
.
To import audio tracks from a disc, click
Import Audio
>
Import from CD/DVD
.
To record an audio clip, click
Record Audio
.
Copying mixes
To copy a mix:

In the
Mix Editor
, click below the layers (on the timeline that
displays the timecodes) and drag the playhead over the section of
the mix that you want to copy.
