Using a Level Mask Button
A Level Mask button enables you to quickly view what levels are selected, and edit which levels are included in the
next crosspoint switch.
The three buttons between

and
LEVEL 1
are to retain consistency with Category mode.
Figure 4.1 Example of the Level Mask Mode Button Mapping
summarizes the buttons for Level Mask mode.
To use level mask mode
1. To enter Level Mask edit mode, press and hold
LEVEL MASK
for approximately 1 second.
2. Toggle the required levels.
In the following example,
LEVEL 1
and
LEVEL 2
are selected.
Some levels may be lit from a previous level mask setting.
3. Press
EXIT
to exit from edit mode.
The user will be returned to the menu that was active prior to the Level Mask edit function.
The
LEVEL MASK
button will remain lit indicating the next source selection will be executed only on the
levels of the routing system as selected whilst in Level Mask edit mode.
A short press of the
LEVEL MASK
button will disable the Level Mask mode and the RCP-ME will return to the
previous breakaway (e.g. TIED).
