7. Switching the thermometer on/off
• First connect the sensor 7 to start using the ther-
mometer.
• Then press and hold the On/Off button 4 on the
thermometer for approx. 3 seconds until the dis-
play switches on.
• To switch off the meat thermometer, press and
hold the On/Off button 4 for 3 seconds until the
display switches off.
• Unplug the sensor connector from the thermo-
meter to make sure that the thermometer can-
not be switched on again inadvertently.
If the display shows "
LO
" it means that the
battery needs replacing.
8. Connecting to a smartphone
To control the meat thermometer via Bluetooth you
need the free RÖSLE BBQ app.
• To find it in the
Apple App Store or
Android Play Store,
search for "
RÖSLE
BBQ
", then down-
load and install the
app.
To make sure that the app works on your
smartphone, your device must be compatible
with Apple iOS 7 or later and Bluetooth® v4.0
or later.
