• Touch the button “Seal” to seal the foil bag.
The pilot lamp of the button “Seal” starts to
glow.
• The process is fi nished, if the pilot lamp of the
button “Seal” goes out.
• Continue the procedure as described in “6.1 Va-
cuuming and sealing”.
Reach the desired vacuum by touching the but-
tons “VAC/Seal” and “Stop” alternately.
In order to avoid overheating, the appliance stops
automatically, after two minutes, if the bag is not
air tight.
6.3 Making bags from a foil roll
1. Cut the foil roll
• Unwind the desired length of the roll and cut it
with a scissor.
2. Seal the foil
• Seal one of the open ends of the opened foil. For
doing so, place the foil with the open side
on the
rubber lip
. Make sure that the foil does`t extend
into the vacuum chamber.
• Close the lid and press it down on both sides
until it latches audibly simultaneously.
• Touch the button “VAC/Seal”.
The pilot lamp of the button “VAC/Seal” starts
to glow.
The short running of the pump presses the
appliance`s lid on the sealing lip so that a perfect
seam sealing is achieved.
• The process is fi nished when the pilot lamp of the
“Seal” button has extinguished.
• Continue as described under “6.1 Vacuuming and
sealing”.
