Connecting Digital Devices
When connecting digital equipment, use a commercially available breakout cable and make the connection to the AES/EBU connector.
* The AES/EBU connector is a 25-pin D-sub female connector wired as shown in “AES/EBU connector” in “Connector Information”(p. 25). Check the
wiring of cables and equipment before connecting them.
* When using a commercially available breakout cable, check its wiring before purchase.

AES/EBU INPUT Settings
NOTE
The S-2416 has no built-in sampling-rate converter.
When using AES/EBU INPUT, sync the S-2416 to the word-clock
signal from the external device.
When using AES/EBU INPUT, set the [MODE] switches on the S-2416
as shown below.
