Only available in client mode.
Using this function, you can scan your environment for available networks and then select an input
from a list of networks found which is then accepted in the
Network Name
field.
Network Name
Client mode:
In this text field, enter the name of the network to which you would like to be connected.
Factory setting: “”.
Host mode:
In this text field, enter the name which you would like to give your network.
Factory setting: “Z21proLINK”.
Password
Client mode:
In this text field, enter the password of the network to which you would like to be connected.
Factory setting: “”.
Host mode:
In this text field, enter the password which you would like to give your network.
Factory setting: “12345678”.
Static IP Address
Only available in client mode.
With this option, you can determine whether the IP address data should be assigned “dynamically”
by the router or whether you yourself would like to set the IP address data “statically”.
Factory setting: “off”.
IP Address
Client mode:
In this text field, the IP address of the Z21 pro LINK is displayed.
Host mode:
In this text field, enter the IP address which you would like to give your network.
Factory setting: “192.168.1.1”.
Subnet Mask
Client mode:
In this text field, enter the sub-network mask of the network to which you would like to be connected.
Host mode:
In this text field, enter the sub-network mask which you would like to give your network.
Factory setting: “255.255.255.0”.
Default Gateway
Client mode:
In this text field, enter the standard gateway of the network to which you would like to be connected.
Host mode:
In this text field, enter the standard gateway which you would like to give your network.
Factory setting: “192.168.1.1”.
Host Mode
With this option, you can determine whether you wish to operate your Z21 pro LINK in client mode or in host mode.
Client mode:
The Z21 pro LINK connects itself to an existing Z21 WLAN router.
Host mode:
This means that the Z21 pro LINK generates its own WLAN. One single WLAN device (e.g. smartphone or laptop) can
connect with the Z21 pro LINK.
