Maintain the Computer
Clean the Computer
It is important to maintain your computer. Periodically clean the display, heat
sink and vent holes, and remove any grease or paint.
Clean the Integrated Display
Follow these steps to clean the display.
1. Disconnect power from the computer at the power source.
2. Clean the display with a mild soap or detergent by using a clean sponge
or a soft cloth.
3. Dry the display with a chamois or moist cellulose sponge to avoid water
spots.
Clean the Heat Sink and Vent Holes
Follow these steps to clean the chassis.
1. Disconnect power from the computer at the power source.
2. Disconnect all peripheral devices from the computer.
3. Vacuum dust and debris from the heat sink and vent holes.

If the computer has a touch screen, it is possible for
screen objects to activate during equipment wash-downs if the
computer is turned on.
ATTENTION:
Do not use of abrasive cleansers or solvents, which can
damage the display or touch screen. Do not scrub or use brushes.
