: The RS-232 connector uses the standard PINOUT. A direct male DB9 to female DB9 cable can be used to
connect to a PC’s serial port. If you use a USB-to-serial product to configure the gateway may cause unexpected
errors when configuring the gateway.

File->Exit
Exit the Modem Configurator.
Settings-Export
Export the gateway’s currently configuration file to your local PC.
Settings->Import
Import the gateway’s configuration file from local PC to the gateway.
About->About
Manufacturer’s information and Modem Configurator version.
Port No.
Select the local RS-232 port to communicate with the gateway.
Connect
Connect the Modem Configurator to the gateway, which will use the
PC’s local RS-232 port.
Disconnect
Disconnect the Modem Configurator to the gateway and release the
PC’s RS-232 port.
