Replacing the Lithium Ion Battery Pack
NOTE:
Use Procell PC 1500 alkaline batteries, Duracell MN 1500 alkaline
batteries, or RKI Instruments lithium ion battery pack 49-1615RK to
maintain the CSA classification of the Gas Tracer. Use of other batteries
will void the CSA classification and may void the warranty. Do not mix
old/new or different types of batteries.
NOTE:
Utiliser Procell 1500 piles alcalines, Duracell MN 1500 piles alcalines, ou
RKI Instruments pack batterie lithium-ion 49-1615RK de maintenir la
classification CSA de la Gas Tracer. L’utilisation d’autres piles annule la
classification CSA et peut annuler la garantie. Ne mélangez pas les
anciennes/nouvelles ou différents types de piles.
1. Turn off the Gas Tracer.
WARNING:
Do not remove the battery pack while the Gas Tracer is on.
2. Push the latch on the bottom of the Gas Tracer toward the front of the
instrument to release the battery pack.

3. Slide the battery pack away from the instrument.
4. Insert a new battery pack ensuring that the slots and grooves on the sides are
properly lined up. Push the battery pack into the instrument until you hear a
click.
